I fixed the following: The armor fits correctly, Darron is now where he is supposed to be. The barrel does not appear as a topic. You do not need the old version of the “MM7Rev4modR1 Redone” Nor any of the other patches.
I am doing a remake of “MM7Rev4modR1” by Big Daddy Jim. This mod was later redone by Maestro and now by David Hernandez. In this version, I fixed the following: The armor fits correctly, Darron is now where he is supposed to be. The barrel does not appear as a topic. You do not need the old version of the “MM7Rev4modR1 Redone” .
1. Do a clean installation of MM7 CD or GoG version.(not included)
2. Install MMEditor and MMExtension2.2 in any order (included). The folders go into the MM7 installaion folder.
3. Install GrayFace Patch 2.5.7 (included). Very important, make sure you uncheck the last three.
4. Run Game (You will get a message that MMExtension is about to generate text tables. You need to wait about two to three minutes) When the MMExtension is finished, exit. Do not create party.
6. Run the game again. Wait for the MMExtension is finished. Do not create party. (exit again) (important)
7. Install "MM7Rev4modR1 Redone" Place the following folders of this zip file into the "Might and Magic VII" installed folder. (Anims, DATA, DataFiles, ExeMods, Music, Scripts, and Sound) Overwrite all files. Do a short cut of the MM7setup.Exe to your desk top. Right click on it and select properties. Click the compatibility tab and set it to window XP service pack 3. Do the same for MM7.Exe.
8. Play the game.
Super!
Thank You.
Gray face patch wasnt included. Didnt work.
I thought I had put it in the zip file. Sorry. You can get it at Grayface.github.io
The patch is there. It is MM7.Patch.v2.5.7.exe.
Are there any records of where different trainers have moved to? I'm looking for the master swords trainer in Deyja but he is not there anymore. There are some floating houses there and i can't get to one of them (don't have fly yet)
He is in Emerald Island. This game is not the same as the original MM7. When you complete a quest by the dwarfs, you get a key that is used on a pedestal in Bracada desert. It will take you back to Emerald Island.
When I create a party there are only the originale race and not the ones from the previous editions form the mods. Am I doing something wrong?
No, you are not doing anything wrong. It had to be done that way because of the armor not fitting correctly.

Ok, I downloaded the file and see all that is needed but I'm not sure by what you mean the original games installation file. Can you provide details in that so I know what to do? Thanks!
You need to download the "final" version only. It has everything. You do not need the other zip files. Follow the instructions that come with that zip file "Readme".
Ok, I have downloaded the final version but can't find the Readme file.
It is the "MM7Rev4modR1 Redone Final.txt" Sorry about that.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but Step 4 isn't working. I boot the game to a dark menu stating its Maestro's mod and it has new classes like Barbarian etc. It doesn't come up with anything like this:
'You will get a message that MMExtension is about to generate text tables.'
When you say to 'install' Install MMEditor and MMExtension2.2 in any order (included), do you mean to extract the .rar files into the main installation folder?
Any advice would be appreciated!
Yes. That is the same folder where the MM7.exe Is.
