So it's been almost a month since Mission Improbable Parts 1 and 2 was released. I thought I'd make a small timelapse movie which shows how a map evolves during development.
The video shows how one area in Part 2 changed, with multiple resets, tests and finally the released version in the end. A similar difference can be seen throughout the level, with almost nothing ending up how it was planned in the beginning. I find these timelapse movies very interesting, and I hope you will too!
And now a small update regarding Part 3. The nice summer weather is interfering with progress, up until now I've only gotten around to prototyping some of the puzzles that will go into the map along with some paper design on layout and design ideas. Later this week I'm going on a 2 week vacation, once I get back I will most likely start doing layout tests in the engine and work towards getting something playable.
