Metal A Quake Modifcation Created by Arthur (Fox -AJ-) Phelps What is Metal? Metal is an attempt to bring some of the gameplay aspects of Metal Gear Solid (Mainly the agent versus the big group of enemies, and perhaps some stealth-like gameplay) to Quake. However it isn't supposed to be just "Metal Gear Solid Quake." The idea is to be Quake with more of military-realisim-ish aspect to it. It's hard to say, since there was no one goal from the beginning to achieve. I have also added a couple screenshots of the Multiplayer maps that are already available in the mod.

Also, I have started work on the single player maps campaign. The first campaign will send you fighting through the jungle to retake the area from 'Masquerade.' (A terrorist-like faction.) I plan the Campaign to be about 7-9 maps long, each map being fairly big. Also, I might add additional weapons, (rifles, pistols, and shotguns) which I will be doing new models for as well.

Once I get the first campaign playable, I will do the preview movie. I want to avoid the game looking like quake with new weapons if at all possible.

Along with the movie, I will release Beta 3 with the full first single player campaign.

Also, I have ideas for a second campaign, Desert Liberation. It will be combat in Middle-Eastern areas and towns. The job will be to find the WMD cache. (I got the idea while watching the whole middle-eastern conflict thing on TV, so there.)
