Dear Followers,
Over the past few months I have been working diligently to produce new textures in order to give this mod its own feel (so as not to play through and recognize all the hl2 textures).
Unfortunately, the unthinkable has happened. Hundreds of man-hours have been lost in a hard drive crash. Out of 194 vtf's (and vmt's), only 21 vtfs were recovered.
Fortunately, I kept photoshop files of most of my textures on another hard drive. Still, it will take some time to remake the vmts and vtfs, along with all the textures that weren't backed up.
Progress on a map was also set back by a month.

Well, many teams give up when something like this happens. I'm really glad to see that you are still going to work with it! Good luck on making everything again and PLEASE, DON'T GIVE UP. MGS is my favorite game of all time, just wanna see it in source.
Idk how you want to package this mod but i think doing it in small chapters would be the best for the mod and for the work to be more manageable for you. But im sorry your work had to be wasted like that.
Our plan has always been to release this in a few managable segments.
