I haven't abandoned this little project yet. Median 2007 1.24 will add several new uberbosses (with very special loot...), the cow level, new monsters, runewords and improve many underused skills.
Most importantly, monster hit points will be greatly reduced to prevent less perfectly built characters from grinding to a halt. This should make the mod faster, more action-packed and ultimately more dangerous, because you end up fighting more monsters at the same time.
