The day,what you're waiting for is coming soon...the day what is important to us,Max Payne fans. You may ask why?
In 2001 an amazing team called Remedy created a low budget game,what changed everything in the gaming world/history. In the tragic story of the fallen cop, Max Payne attempts to hunt down the ones responsible for murdering his wife and child, as well as framing him for the murder of his partner, Alex Balder. As the story unfolds he gains a number of "allies", including a Russian mafia gangster, called Vladimir Lem, and Mona Sax,(the assassin) who manages to bring down the ring-leaders in a major drug-operation for a narcotic called V or Valkyr.
An amazing story with a prefect game engine,bullet time,amazing sound effects for 2001,wonderful musics,low-budget BUT legendary actors etc.

Our team worked very hard to add this feeling to the mod ( Old School Mod) too.
We added models,sound effects,new graphic novels,musics and more to bring back the familiar feelings what Max Payne 1 gave us. We remade the main characters too,so we will meet familiar faces (Like Sam Lake as Max Payne, Marko Saaresto as Vlad etc...)
The team decided,that we will release the first version (1.0) of Old School Mod,when Max Payne 1 was released (2001. July 23.)
