The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

This is what some of the larger battles look like with the new scaling. It looks fantastic, still clearly visible with touches of realism.

A bit scary to see that so few Reaper ships must be met by a veritable Alliance horde.
Scary story this, the first few ships that jumped in were numbering around 100, got wiped out in a few minutes, the second smaller fleet came in numbering around 120 fought and held the Reapers at bay while the main fleet of around 300 ships came to ambush the Reapers from behind but they wiped all of the ships out only losing 10 capital ships. I was like ****....

As a purely defensive player I have no hope of beating the reapers then.
where are eather sides titan? one thing you shouldn't do GIVE THE REAPERS TIME. reapers might need a little nerf if they become that powerfull.
It was a galaxy forge map. Secondly, the Destiny Ascension and Volus Dreadnought were in there. They are not ready to be played in a game yet, in fact all races aren't.
Yep, my council fleet has no hope now lol. But the prize :)

With the new scaling the game should run slightly better as with the new scales the game wont have to texture as much space.

Vasari and Advent can be attached as Bonus races i concur. Because they are organic, I would love to see how an Advent Reaper would turn out to be. Asari have "Telekenesis" as element zero, but the Advent are a special breed of humans with Mind Powers. A reaper controlling a whole fleet in a glymps would be Epic =D
When I think about it the Vasari and Advent would fit into the Mass Effect Universe in terms of design and style. Well, maybe the Vasari had to use another name because of the Asari...

In Halo the UNSC only won against the Covenant in space whenever they had a 5:1 advantage, and that's still losing the majority of their ships.

Such thing actually happened to me while playing SoaSE: Rebellion.
Even on the easy difficulty, the Vasari rebels refused to have peace with me and then they mercilessly rapped my fleets and destroyed/captured my colonies.
But after some time, I retook my lost colonies, started taking their colonies and by the first time in my life, I defeated the Vasari without the help of any allies. Lol
But now I'm not that newbie anymore.
Naaah i still go with a Cruiser firing "Spartan Soldiers Torpedos" xD the odds would turn in an instance hehehe
