The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

I wouldn't mind. I actually enjoyed Andromeda.

Will admit, the Kett weren't the most interesting villains ever though.

Andromeda had potential. Shame Bioware gave up on it.. The Kett at least would be easy to make a faction for.

I'm hoping for Geth and either the Rachni or the Protheans

With Alliance under the Council, Collectors under Reapers, and if I remember right the Geth were sprinkled between the two depending on Renegade/Paragon paths and the like I really don't know who the other two could be. Kett and Angara are possible if unlikely in my mind. Batarians are another possibility as they aren't affiliated with anyone, but they don't have the number of art assets needed for a faction. Rachi and Protheans could be interesting, but again the lack of art assets hinders them.

In this case, they have "artistic freedom" to explore.
Rachni - bug-like stuff.
Prothean - blocky, necron-like stuff from wh40k, just with less skulls and death-theme.

I really hope that one is the Protheans. I mean the races of the galaxy didn't have all of the galaxy explored so who knows. Also, I hope the last one is Aria and her mercs, maybe even the Talons?

It'd be cool to see the Batarian Hegemony, and maybe a Omega/pirate alliance.

Rachni and Protheans are not really in the same time-frame as the other factions.

Maybe Krogans, but I doubt they have any of their own ship design.
