Cry face, I saw that "1 Update" on my bar and i was like OMG hoping for the release of another mod i have been waiting for for months and then i was like AWWWWWWW. Cool fighter model though.
You guys are modelling, skinning, re-modelling, re-skinning and refining. Either way, this mod's going to be awesome.
Oh yes it will! If you watch back a year or something like that, on the models and the textures. You will see that the old models arent as smooth as now and the textures are pretty much just shiny colors. Its great that he remodels and reskins them since he is REALLY good at it now.To be honest I did not expect it to be even better than the first models, I'm happy! :D

There isn't any reason for wings to exist on a spacecraft at all, though I judge that the Fighters have wings is to fly in-atmosphere (as shown by the ME3 Cinematic Trailer, though the authenticity of that canon is debatable).
These Cerberus fighters? Since those wings probably wouldn't work on an actual air craft, I judge it's just 'for looking cool', as all Mass Effect art design since ME2.
Honestly, I liked the practical and efficient design of Mass Effect 1's design. Your amour isn't built to look cool, it's built to be a practical protection in combat situations and hazardous environments.
the fighters are also on noveria, on earth when the reapers landed, the reason for the weird wings I believe is because the wings emit the mass effect fields, and for cerberus they made the field more efficient using it that way.
Maybe there's thrusters on the bottom of them and it makes it spin?

Well it would be a tad bit boring if it was just a reskin of an Alliance fighter wouldn't it? ;P
Remove the hull paneling texture from the windowed area and give it a gloss finish - make it somewhat dirty in the corners and clean in the center with a fading center of focus. Then in the data map, give it a higher gloss value than the hull of the ship so it reflects like glass.
that glass dosent reflect in ME3 on noveria and the shiny parts on the ship are frozen so its fine but where this not a ME or other series and this was a custom one then making it shiny would be good.
Except in the CG cut scenes it has a gloss finish.
