Experience some of the fiercest battles of WWII across North Africa with Mare Nostrum. Building on the realistic, tactical game play that made Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 a fan favourite, Mare Nostrum lets players battle it out in an all new theatre of war. Featuring British, Australian, German and Italian nations, choose from a range of authentic weaponry or crew 1 of 10 fully realised vehicles. With 8 different battle environments the game play is varied from gritty street to street fighting in urban surroundings, to all out tank warfare in the open desert. This is North Africa, but not like you have seen it before. On the 17th October 2008, Mare Nostrum became the first, third party game MOD to be made available on Steam.

Yes folks it is finally time for the Mare Nostrum June Media release! We apologise for the delay to the release but hopefully it has been worth waiting for. Mare Nostrum will take Red Ochestra to North Africa in the Second World War and in the last month Sandstorm Productions have been hard at work. Today we are proud to unveil what we have been working on.

We have pictures of both our textured British and Australian infantry along with the M4A1 Sherman tank. Along with this we are also showcasing 3 new maps: Tobruk Central, Akaba and Fallen Empire.

We have a whole pile more goodies on the Mare Nostrum website, so click HERE and take a look. There is also the latest version of the Tunis Telegraph with a more in-depth look - well worth a read, old chap! Click HERE to download it directly.

And to whet your appetites for whats in store, here are a few shots for you to look at - more over at the Mare Nostrum website!
