Mafia MOD is a Half-Life modification set in 1930s New York. Two opposing families fight to acheive set goals which alter according to the map being played. The objectives will be crime/Mafia based, and range from importing contraban to an all out family war. Teams will be measured by Respect, earnt from killing members of the opposing team, and achieving objectives. The mod will feature a variety of Mafia style weapons, including brass knuckles, flickknives, tommyguns and sawnoff shotguns. The weapons will be modelled according to actual weapons used by the mafia at the time.

Ok, Mafia MOD now has an IRC channel. Everybody can now easily talk to us. The channel is #mafiamod and it is on irc.gamesnet.net (click here). I am on right now, and the rest of the team will be there pretty much 24 hours hopefully.
