The year is 2063. You play as a "Lovac Unit" named Sam Cooper. A special police unit made to do the Global Police Departments dirty work. After 10 years, The only good thing Haven city has given Sam is his girlfriend, Sarah. A reporter, A northern star, Dead. When Sarah is murdered while looking into a story, you begin your own unofficial investigation. Going against orders and powerful unseen forces, Sam must put aside his plans to leave Haven behind for good and play Judge, Jury and Executioner one more time.
This is easily one of the most underrated mods on Moddb, I am EXTREMELY excited to play the full version of this mod on its release date!

Lovac: 2063 has a unique take on the combat. I've got to play the mod before the second release as a playtester and I had alot of fun shooting stuff. The visuals are very different from regular HL2 and I really like that, the voice acting is spot on. Also the combat reminds me much for the newest Doom series, only the finishing moves are missing.
I think the mod shouldn't loose any points because the first launch failed.. it happens. And also it's a free mod so people shouldn't be upset about it. It's a good lesson for the developers, to prepare much more for the next release.
From what I've heard the final gameplay is going to be MUCH MUCH longer what I'm really excited about.
There are some few errors here and there I wasn't really keen on, like the mod being very dark at places (This wouldn't be a problem, but the flashlight is missing and you can't use it to see in the dark). Also some places are really claustrophopic, like at the beginning maze-coridor section.
That's all, I gave my opinion to the developer directly beforehand.
