xElite_V's Less Hassle Mod
This mod contains general edits and some small additions that are in fact are multiplayer friendly to people who would like to play PVM. Mocks/Funkies will break garunteed so don't try them.
Version 1.1:

Version 1.0:
- Sets, Uniques, Magic, Rares, RWs anything that had a minimum and maximum value, their minimum is also the values of that of the maximums (they always drop with max rolls), that said I did not go through them so you may encounter an item that has something like +X fire damage as an individual amount, this is because the item had dropped with it's minimum values pasted over with their maximum, so certain values that have a minimum and a maximum value in one property would just be their maximum (treating minmax cold damage for example, min 6 and max 12 would appear as 6-12 cold damage in-game). Pretty sure I forgot crafted gears but I may get to that later. Superiors also have their values normal right now.
- Everything should cost only 1 gold (gambling has a formula to it's cost but it's gambling base cost is still 1).
- Mana should almost instantly replenish, I wasn't a fan of bringing potions, I thought it should be your damage and gear is what brings you forth in levels, losing mana would just kill me and it was frustrating, obviously this would make sorceresses overpowered with energy shield because they'd never run out of mana. If you enjoy that then by all means play a sorc but it'd ruin the fun for me just playing a sorc anyways so all on you.
- Stamina drains 20 times slower, (apart from the assassin which is 15 times slower since her base rundrain is 15). Hated running out of stamina, so here this is.
- Since Akara only resets your stats once and grabbing all essences is a bitch and a half, you can craft a token of absolution for 3 identification scrolls in the cube. (you start with the cube so).
- Being that almost everything you pickup is worthless I added a recipe to craft an elixer, the elixer itself is worth 100,000 gold so just sell it so you can gamble or do other stuff. I have not removed the limit on how much gold you can get for selling items in each act in each difficulty so the further you are the more efficient gambling will be for you.
- Armor spawns with it's max base armor.
- Shrines should last almost 137 minutes and have only a 1 minute cooldown.
- Each shrine will be as likely to spawn as any other (this includes the fire shrine so watch where you click if you don't usually read them). This does not apply to level restrictions for each shrine, I left those alone.
- All runes and perfect gems are sold by Akara. (don't remember if they were difficulty based so she may not sell them in Nightmare or Hell).
Installation:
- Drag the data folder into the folder where game.exe is (the base folder of your Diablo II installation C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\<--).
- Make a shortcut to either Diablo II.exe or Game.exe (doesn't matter which but Diablo II.exe will have it's icon automatically...).
- In the shortcut's target-line, add -direct -txt so that -direct states that it will load .bin files before any MPQ file data and .txt which will convert the corresponding .txt files to .bin so that the game may load them. Shortcut target line should look like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w -direct -txt
- Run the shortcut.
