New Years greetings from the L'Aigle mod team (it's actually just myself, but you get the point).
I'll get right into the thick of it by telling of the new Ranks system that has been recently added to the mod. The player can hold one of 10 ranks, from Civilian to Marshal (or whatever the faction's equivalent is). Holding a rank has several benefits, include a weekly salary, increased party capacity and the abillity to purchase better items. Promotions are granted based on renown (which is earned primarily by fighting battles and completing quests), or can be purchased from the faction leader up to the rank of Colonel.
In other news, all of the French troops and uniforms have been finished. This represents a huge milestone towards the mod completion. Focus will now drift towards the other major factions involved in the War of the Fifth Coaltion.
To celebrate the New Year, I present to you the French Chasseurs à Cheval and the infantry lieutenant's uniform.
