Would it be possible to have a unique animation for sentries? That way they could stand at "rest" or "order arms" instead of having the musket slanted on the back.

They've already got unique animations. The problem is that you can't get an NPC to hold its weapon without enemies around. I would have to make a custom uniform with a weapon attached, but that would cause problems for the few instances where the guards actually fight.

So, it is possible, but it's a fair bit of work. It's a feature for when I have too much free time.

I wouldn't have even asked if not for Quintillus getting guards to stand with halberds in-hand in some of Nova Aetas' city and court scenes. Granted, in that posture they glitch out and assume a combat stance occasionally, so he must be faking something under the hood.

I also have a suggestion: I know that it's possible to have a "sheathed" mesh for every weapon, that is different from the "combat" mesh. So, wouldn't it be possible to have the soldier's muskets in a more "musket-like" position mounted on the back, and not in the stupid generic spear slot?

This was mainly a test of some stronger colour-correction. I'll probably include this an option for people that want it.
