After 1 year and 4 months, we have set the Kreedz Climbing Beta1.0 afloat.
We feature:
- 24 fullscale maps
- 4 player models
- 1 tool with 3 different skins
- A nice Bunjee rope to play with if you succeed in completing the maps. In updates we will be adding more reasons to have the bunjee rope, and possibly other abilites as well.
The mod can presently be run in 3 different modes:
- normal mode with or without checkpoint system.
- Bunnyhop Mode
- Surf Mode
- We plan to create others as well including Bunjee Mode and a Tournament Mode.
We offer a few mirrors and a bit torrent for the mod in our moddb profile and also on our website Kzmod.com, and presently the server installers are here on MODdb exclusively, but this will also change, so keep an eye on our website for more server mirrors(support for Windows or Linux).

the movement feels good so far and i think you will fix all the fu***** wallbugs which are freaking me out!!!!
of course there are a few things which feel really buggy and completly different to 1.6 e.g. the longjumps. but i'm sure you know this already.
so keep on going!

Sucks.
I think it's funny how people bash kz maps. For you that do, you must know nothing at all about KZ and where it originated. How about doing some research first before you say it sucks...becuase I have a feeling most of you don't know the first thing about KZ. No...its not a shooting mod...no you do not kill people...if you want to do that go play one of the other thousands of mods that are based on shooting. Yes..you jump from "Platform" to "Platform". Vets from the KZ maps from CS1.6 call them Kreedz Climbing maps...and thats where this mod got its name... and yes it is "climbing" because you are going upwards...which is uhh...climbing up to the top of the map. Is it not? A few tweeks made to this mod and it will shine like a diamond.
So maybe next time before you bash the mod again. Possible take the tutorial before you say the jumps suck or are impossible to make. Because really...they arn't that hard. Learn to jump...and then tell me if it's boring or not.
I would rather play KZ maps any day then run to bomb site A and B all day repeating the same stratagies over and over again.

this is a niche game, if you dont like jumping puzzles(as in, any game made before 1998) you wont like this. You wouldn't beleive the size of the community playing the original maps on cs 1.6! There are people who play this, and lots. Personally, I hate jumping puzzles, but there is no need to rubbish the mod because you don't like the game style. genre preference, play a game you like instead. This doesn't pretend to be anything but a jumping puzzler.
