AMNH 5027, the usual 'media rex'.

Why doesn't it have Feathers? I thought was proven that Tyrannosaurs have them IIRC (not true Feathers, but Fur-like Feathers that Ostriches, Emus, Cassowaries, and Kiwis have).

Still, great Model none the less.

More recent research and findings has indicated that Tyrannosaurus, and possibly Tyrannosaurines as a whole, are likely entirely scaled rather than feathered like Proceratosaurs such as Yutyrannus.

This is fantastic work i am very impressed the work your doing puts a lot of the other jpog mods to shame will Tyrannosaurus be the size of the Sue skeleton so around 12.3 meters long and over 8 tons when in game ? or will it be based on smaller specimen ??

Our Tyrannosaurus is based on AMNH 5027 and is thus 11.56m long in a straight line and comes out to roughly 11.8-11.9m area in terms of its actual length.

Interesting what is your selection process for what specimen you chose ? do you need certain criteria ? and if you are going to model spino what specimen do you think you are going to use ? MSNM v 4047 that could be sigilmassasaurus or something like FSAC kk 11888 ? sorry asking so many questions just interested.

We wanted to try and get an 'ideal' younger adult, being around 21 years in age 5027 fits somewhat between Sue and Stan. As for Spinosaurus, if we were to do it, we would most likely use FSAC since it's significantly more complete and doesn't have any worry associated with potential lumping into Sigilmassasaurus.
