From RuneStorm, the developers of Ballistic Weapons UT2004: JunkWar is a high-quality mod for UT2004 that is all about fun. Players get to fight with various everyday weapons such as tools, electrical devices, glass objects, sporting equipment and more!! Weapons can be thrown, used to block from attacks and even shock and break or shatter! There are 37 weapons in all, including: crowbar, baseball bat, axes, light bulbs, pieces of plumbing, capacitor, tazer, concrete pole, beer bottles and many many more. Players can also wield 3 shields; Trashcan lid, JunkWar sign, and Riot shield. These shields can be used with one handed weapons to block and fend off attacks from opponents. JunkWar is a mutator, meaning it can be used with most, or all gametypes, and even new mods. JunkWar weapons can be used with original UT2004 weapons, and other weapons and gameplay features of other modifications, such as Ballistic Weapons. We're very pleased to announce that the new update to Ballistic Weapons has been released! V2.5 features 6 brand new guns, various improvements and fixes, and comes in a complete pack of RuneStorm mods for UT2004, including JunkWar, maps, vehicles and music.

The much anticipated new version of our popular Ballistic Weapons modification for UT2004 is here at last!
Included in the new update, are 6 brand new weapons, including: X4 Knife, MD24 Pistol, XMk5 SubMachinegun, M46 Combat Rifle, BORT-85 Grenade Pistol, and A500 Skrith Acid Gun.

Along with the new weapons, there are a number of fixes, such as:
-Force-to Walk in sights and scopes
-Quicker Iron-Sight time
-FP9 immediate detonation delay added
-Network client "high recoil" bug fixed
-Option to limit DoubleJumping
-New "Ballistic Regeneration" mutator that adds life-steal and health regeneration
-Widescreen scopes fixed
-Blood causing ugly squares on terrain fixed

This update also comes as a sort of "complete" RuneStorm pack for UT2004, which, along with the new BW update, also features:
-JunkWar (all previous and a new update)
-Various RuneStorm maps
-Vehicles
-Music Pack
