hello, well if you want some inspiration try movies Generation War and Untergang (Downfall in english) as for the ideas of a map I think a late war eastern front summer map is something that was never done for cod2. for example 1944 operation bagration is interesting. it is basically the beginning of total german defeat on the eastern front.
