I don't know how many of you actually read these posts (I can see the stats, it doesn't look good for news articles), but I'll give you guys a little heads up with whats going down anyways. If you've played the lastest demo, you've got a pretty good idea, but I've had a recent little burst of energy, and I''ve gotten quite a bit done recently.
For starters, I've been working on the strings, so no more "missing" and every unit is no longer named the Hacker. I've been doing stuff like planning out the hotkeys, command set layout, and all that kind of stuff. I want it to be intuitive and natural, and units that are similair should occupy the same spot across the factions (like tanks will always be this spot and so on).
Secondly, I've been working on the civilian stuff, so you won't have the contrast between the 'realistic' generals atmosphere and my toony-ness. The terrain, props, buildings, and all new maps be made (or ARE being made) to make the experience complete.
Thirdly, the Japanese faction is getting a little boring for, and even though I only have a handful of things left, I'm making a little excurision into working on Everyone's favorite russian mad scientist; Yuri. I've gotten some help from Dutchygamer, who is contributing models.
Well, thats all for now folks. Prepare for the Invasion!
