This project is the continuation of our work in Warband crusade MOD "In the Name of Jerusalem". We will continue to extend and improve the old settings. The new campaign map will expand to the Upper Danube, the Nile Delta, the Dinaric Alps, and Transcaucasia. The Bulgarian Empire and Grand Principality of Serbia will be added. Kingdom of Georgia, the Saltukids and the Artuqids (probably Eldiguzids) may comes later. The timeline still starts from 1187, but we will try to add more interesting historical events until 1204 - including the Fourth Crusade.

Yes Muttawiias were a group of religious fanatical civilians who spontaneously take part in the fighting. They might used clubs, old-fashion swords and short spears, slings to fight.

I don't think I'm heard of that word even though I'm familiar with Arabic, could you please tell where did you get that word from?

In a lot of history describe. I doubt this word had a lot of different spell. You might want to check the books write by David Nicolle. For example, "Saladin and the saracens" published by Osprey.
