This project is the continuation of our work in Warband crusade MOD "In the Name of Jerusalem". We will continue to extend and improve the old settings. The new campaign map will expand to the Upper Danube, the Nile Delta, the Dinaric Alps, and Transcaucasia. The Bulgarian Empire and Grand Principality of Serbia will be added. Kingdom of Georgia, the Saltukids and the Artuqids (probably Eldiguzids) may comes later. The timeline still starts from 1187, but we will try to add more interesting historical events until 1204 - including the Fourth Crusade.

It's based on some Icons, there's no rivet lamellar have been found yet.

I suspect that the iconography doesn't have realistic proportions on the size. Art of the time rarely does. It might be better to look at other lamellar finds for reference even if they aren't the exact same type.

I love your work but I was wondering weren't colors quite expansive? I understand that you usually do everything according to historic reports or paintings and I understand that many riders were rich, noble, but foot soldiers as well? armor isn't cheap either but necessary I always thought that many colors were luxury back in time but I might be wrong, anyway if all fractions are colorful will it still be easy to spot "my guys" on the battlefield? Especially if I fight somebody with the same troops as me?

The divide between the upper and lower classes tended to be about the intensity of dyes. Most colours were accessible to pretty much everyone but the cheaper versions are usually less... well colourful. In some places there were also sumptuary laws who restricted what people were allowed to use.

In any case the vast majority of footsoldiers are freemen and townsmen, who are middle class.

Though once again you do see a vast array of colours on peasants too, just not generally all that vibrant.

I have read in some other comments that you are planning a different recruitment systhem so I was wandering will it still be possible to have a fuly mixed army? Or a partially mixed army with for example seljuk ayubid assassin, or byzantine crusader combination? How about prisoner recruitment will it be there?
PS I can't wait to dive into that piece of history that you recreate, you are amazing

Well, mixing your army with soldiers from different religion/faction is barely possible. As for the condition of "partially mixed" that you mentioned, I suppose it's not a good idea to have assassins (Nizari Isma'ili agents) in your seljukid/ayyubid army, unless you don't care the safety of your Sunni commander ;-P

As I said above, the religion of byzantine forces differs from the Crusaders' in INJ2. In historical cases of the time period that we focus on, the Romans didn't tend to collaborate with the Latins/Franks/West-Europeans very much as well. But they surely had employed many mercenaries to fight. In INJ2 when you call up a foreign warband, you don't literally enlist them as individuals into your company, but they will join your allied army as a independent troop. Just like the situation in Bannerlord vanilla.

As for the prisoner recruitment, I'm afraid there will also be some limitations. You can't recruit enemy's elite POW, hence you can only hold them for ransom or put them to execution. As for the rest, they may just be disbanded to undergo labour service and so on.
