an updated version of the improved campaign mod with instructions on how to install it and reworking the campaigns to remove bugs and other problems. i do not own the base files nor did i get permission to use them as they where taken from the original version of this mod, who's creator has been ofline for months and i will remove this from the platform the moment the original creator asks me to.

same here but i got tired of waiting and felt like he wouldn't come back after being inactive for more then halve a year.
i then spend 2 months of total pain on getting it to this stage :)
i you continued from the older version before the original author changed AA and made infantry way too powerful.
keep the increased unit numbers because it's nice.
i don't mind the ASM spam by the AI
i actually continued from version 4,0 (hence why i kept the 4,x naming convention with ,1 and 2 only being used for testing).
as for the asm spam it was giving the ai an unfare advantage over the player hence why i decided to take away such planes from the ai fo the being until i go over navel completely.

have you followed the installation instructions properly (they are in the read me file included with the mod). the mod also doesnt work on the epic games store version of the game.
Yes, I'm on Steam. When I'm set for pre-epic, there is no 49964 folder to paste ndf_win.dat. That folder isn't there when set for cross platform either. 49964 only shows up with the most update version, but then it crashes

i have been able to port over everything to the latest version of the game but the campaign spawn points would be reset to vanilla (1600 instead of 16000). so until i figure that out, you will need to use the compatibility version of the game to prevent crashes
I followed your updated install instructions and I wanted to point out an error I was able to fix. ndf_win.dat should be pasted into \Wargame Red Dragon\Data\WarGame\PC\510064564 not \Wargame Red Dragon\Data\WarGame\PC\510061340\510064564. That got me the 300+ political points in the Russia campaign. Now I just hope I don't run into game-crashing 82nd airborne. P.S.Thanks for your work on this and being responsive to issues.
i seem to keep making mistakes with numbers. have fixed that now (update should go trough in the next 5 min).
as for the 82nd airborne both you and the ai do not get them in any of the campaigns (if it works) so you should be fine
Glad you picked up this mantle. I always liked this mod. One thing that you might want to look at is the capture of Pyongyang in second korean war. I have units stationed and the enemy no longer has any command units, but it does not allow the sector to be captured, thus the campaign can't be completed.
i have personally not experienced this bug during my play testing so i would appreciate if you could share your savegame with me so i can check what could have coused this ?

good job,i noticed that ships dont fire at tanks,is taht on purpose or something else
this is because ships have no ap valua on their guns and rely on he to overmatch a vehicles armour. i could look into changing this but ships tend to not fire ap at all these days.

i am aware of this but have yet to be able to fix it so i rebalanced most of the mod to be playable even without the r&r function (yes this means i won every campaign)

mainly some small tweaks and an overhaul to the pearl of the orient campaign.
noticed flying dragon in 2nd korean war campaigh wont attack,also retreating heli units can bug a sector make it grey,smaw infantry has option to attack choppers and planes that is weird becouse its not guided weapon,also javerlin has too big range its op.but overall great mod very enjoyable
main problem with the javalin seems to be its aoe ability which allows it to kill multiple targets at once. as for the range, 4km is the irl ground range for the system. No i dea what could be causing the bug with the flying dragons. the smaw and carl gustav get aa capability to simulate the troops having stingers which they would carry along in thier transports. lastly the helicopters bugging zones can only be worked around by actualy destroying the battle group upon first contact (which is done by capping all zones on the map).
