Welcome to my mod. Since I've been playing Vegas 1 & 2 I've heard people complain that certain weapons in the game just aren't realistic. So I researched the weapons in the game and found... They were right! While I haven't adjusted characteristics like the steadiness (or lack thereof) of the weapons when being held or fired (yet, I just might later), I have changed just about everything else. WARNING!!! This mod increases the realism of the game, i.e. it is even more difficult. But since the game has been out for a while I thought people might be up for a little more of a challenge. I adjusted all the weapons to have characteristics closer to the real ones. Most weapons now have slightly better penetration. Weight and fire rate is also now proportional to the real weapon's. I took away unlimited pistol ammo. Movement speed is now proportional to the weapon's weight. Ammo carrying ability is also more realistic. Weapons feature realistic fire select options. Realistic silencers & more.

Out in Version 2.3 - All the iron sights have been fixed! The recoil animation has been adjusted on a few guns. The guns' carrying capacities have been changed to help improve game balance. To address concerns about the 5.56mm NATO round and its stopping power I have changed the 552 Commando and the G36C to use the 77 grain Mk 262. Continued penetration has been tweaked and now based on momentum. Due to popular demand the AKS-74U has been changed back to using a supersonic round. Read more for details.

Do I need all mods to be installed or can I install only the latest (v2.3)?
You can just install 2.3. I just kept the old versions just in case someone liked the previous version better than the current one.
how exactly can i disable the thermal\night vision overlays with out disabling the animations for the default helmet?

Something, i want to change, it's some fire animation of Assault Guns. U can Change it look like fire animation of Submachine guns, but more shake. Can U help me....!!!

Hey, can I just say that - while reading through your included readme txt file - I found some direly incorrect information concerning the L85A2. L85A2 is NOT a grenade launcher variant. L85A1 is an older model that the British army previously used...the weapon was rubbish, so Heckler & Koch cured it, so to speak (just like they 'cured' the M4 with the HK 416). The cured version is the L85A2. I don't know where you got the information from saying that it is a grenade launcher variant, but it's wrong. Just to let you know, it also has a 30rnd mag and not the 25rnd that vegas 2 gives it (I haven't tested the L85A2 with your mod yet so I don't fully know if you've changed it or not).
You're right! don't know where I got that info either. Could be they added a grenade launcher mounting point. That's just a guess. Yeah I heard it was a pretty crappy gun too. I have made the correction in my new version 2.4.2. Thanks!
Do i have to download previous versions first or is this all in one?
You do not need to download previous versions. All versions are full versions, not updates. I left the old versions on so that if people didn't like some of the changes I made they could play the version they liked better.
