Complete retexture of all weapons
All weapons in the zone now seem more used and unmaintained.
There is a large variation in the amount of corrosion and dirt on the weapons depending on the background of the weapontype. Military weapontypes are less corroted as they are better maintained.
This is an example of an old russian rifle that is poorly maintained
(much corrosion).
All weapons are ReTextured to maximum visual quality.
It seams really well done! Also I am putting a mod team together to create a really good mod for COP. If you wish to join and do some of the textures you are welcome to. You won't have to work the whole time so you will be able to work on your own mods as well.

This looks amazing. I was wondering about the map on the top left side, if you add just a minimap or also the noise and "enemy visual" indicator of the vanilla game (I seriously hope not, hate those indicator XD).

The minimap will show your friends and objectives. Not enemies and dead stalkers.
Don't worry it is an AK, you could set it on fire and it would still work.
That's correct - eastern arms don't need as much maintaining as western arms do to function properly.
That is the reason why all the weapon types in this mod has the same probability of jamming.
So is it possible to find, say, a pristine AK? Like are there variables for the weapons found, I.E. different levels of corrosion possible for each weapon?
I'm afraid not. I would really like that myself so if anyone knows if this is even possible in the coding I would be happy to implement it.
It is very possible. Each of the corrosion states will have to be a totally new weapon. So you basically just have to create the textures, copy the model for each texture, make the config files, and a couple of other things.
Well that is certainly something that I will look into then.
Making AK's with ducktape around the mags.
Snipers with urban and nature camo textures.
Lots of different variations; some that are badly corroted and jam alot will be sold cheap and some that are well kept to be sold at a higher rate.

I imagine it wouldn't be much different from your Honourary Makarov (similar features as regular gun but new texture and model to accomodate the texture).
I wish you luck with that Nicolai, certainly would be an amazing feature, although fairly time intensive due to the number of textures needed.
