HYP is real time tactical shooter with chess like awareness and high skill ceiling. The game focuses on intricate game design while offering a unique way to be immersed in the shooting culture.
Also walking speed has now been reduced. This results in the movement around doorways being much much more precise and less clunky or sloppy. It further nerfs the unwanted "fast peeking" gameplay which we are actively minimizing and adds greater emphasis to hipshooting.
Seems like a great and hard feature to add.

Haha, it was actually as simple as just changing a few numbers, but it does affect the gameplay plenty. You can now squeeze between objects you couldn't before and its easier to conceal yourself behind cover or series of posts against walls.

So is the game becoming more tactical than the run-n-gun in hyp v1?
The goal has been always been to capture the highs from both a tactical shooter and arcadey deathmatch game such as quake/hl/unreal.
You can expect the mechanics for either type of gameplay to be refined/changed as we release new versions.
