Just a quick question to the developers of this mod, why this game? Wouldn't a H.O.T.D. game be more productive on an anime game rather than a game that looks like Morrowind or Gothic 3? Just because its supposed to be in a modern era, unless of course you're creating models based on real buildings and cars in japan.
Well saying developers you mean just me, as im more or less doing the mod by myself. Many people have asked me before about changing game but I really want to stick with mount & blade.
I know most stuff based on anime end up with cel-shading but I prefer rrealistic graphics and not cartoonish cel-shading. I know that never happens but yea, you know what I mean.
Also I am basing buildings and scenes off real places in japan so they will be more to real life than creating random streets, I can do buildings but not vehicles or clothing so that's where im stuck at.
That is also a great way of doing it. It is very classic that anime games / mods uses cel-shading, but it can become too much.
Sometimes cel-shading can look good, specially on a pale environment where it can be hard to distinguish between building and ground.
But in far many games I personally find it to be a bad effect, either because there are too much, or because it gets badly rendered at times.
That's exactly my point, sometimes I think people use it as a cheap effect to cover up that they don't want to create proper textures for their costume's or even faces.
Check out robotech invasion and just picture what that would be like if it used cel-shading.
DAT PIXEL!
is coming out pretty nicely btw
Thanks, I can use all the appreciation I can get.
Been looking for a zombie mod for mount and blade, didnt think there would be one. You seem to have a nice idea going, Will be great to play when released!
Yea but the final release will be ages from now as many unique scenes have been planned and it's really just me doing the mod.
There are some other zombie mods in development but they're mostly multiplayer but you should probably check them out.
Thank god I bought M&B! Or I would never have been able to play the awesome rendition of an amazing anime! (PS: Fan service)
The fan service isn't really that bad as it could have been worse and believe me there probably is worse, much much worse but don't expect the aspects of fan service to carry over to this mod or do you?
Um why are people giving me negative karma, im guessing it's a troll or people just expressing their anger but who cares.
