Yea I added that in so it's way better than having to kill armed units, good luck getting close enough without getting killed. I am also making a bunch of micro changes to the mod in which you will be able to read in the progress list that I will update soon before the first update to the 0.5 release.
Nah, it was easy to kill armed units. They couldn't hit me with M16's while I was riding a horse armed with a katana :)
Maybe you need to raise their skills with guns, they are survivors for a reason after all.
They are the factions so no need for random parties of survivors, you only get horse when choosing cromartie high starting option and you can't ever get it replaced if it dies as they aren't sold in shops.
Try fighting on foot as it ain't easy fighting people with guns when they stand and shoot at you. I don't want to raise their skills as you don't want them to be too accurate.
