The background story for T2 seems to be forgotten in the gameplay- the BioDerm Hordes returning from wilderspace to exact revenge and annihalatethe humans who created and then enslaved them. Designed around "combat" gametypes such as Defend&Destroy, Siege, or Capture&Hold (with at least three new gametypes in development), rather than the old rags-on-a-stick chase, the mod has its roots in the Insomniax mod.
