I think there's too much similarity between Hiigaran and Vaygr, they both should have unique characters themselves. For example, Hiigaran has Scavenger already, then why should Vaygr have exactly the same thing? Why can't Vaygr have a Black Market or something like that? :D

It's hard to tell where the primary and secondary team color are, and where it's supposed to be yellow by default. It would be good to have a checkerboard section of primary/secondary team color similar to that on the Vaygr resource collector and refinery.
Ooohhhh, this is reminiscent of the Taiidan repair frig in HW1. Can't wait for Complex 8.0!

Ooooohhh, that looks cool. Too bad they took out fuel for strike craft, I think that was an awesome strategic thing you had to think about in previous games.
In regards to the Vaygr Scavenger, will the top be used for something? Obviously the outside of the wings is where the resource collectors dock to offload, but what about inside the "V" (or is it more of a "U"?)?

It seems to be a pretty clever modification of the concept for your purposes. But someone should fix the smoothing groups.
