So, we were quite happy with the older model, yet something kept bugging us about it.. After some pondering on the subject we decided to build it again, this time in a more bulkier form. This is what came up.
We figured it was much cooler to make the marines more like those from WH40k books. We did a lot of research over our books and the Internet and found many interesting versions of the space marine armor. After a few quick concept drawings and some discussion we looked at the old model and saw it faulty. Comparing the old model with the drawings we noticed certain proportional differences in our design. Our marine just wasn't bad-ass enough and something had to be done. Bulking up the torso led to trashing all limbs and in the end all that was left of the original model was the head. Which we modified too..
And so.. *Horatio puts on sunglasses* And so we saw it awesome. JAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUU!!!
Anyways, this is what we've accomplished over the winter holidays and such. :P Over one day (and night) when we actually did something with the project. The light at the end of the tunnel might not just be an ork with a flamethrower...
