Overview HEAT is a team-play oriented tactical shooter set in a modern and urban environment realized on the source engine. We try to give the game a good mix between realism and gameplay, although HEAT is going to contain more realism than most modifications, which call themselves realistic. Our little and precious baby has grown a lot during the last 12 months and is a nice internal alpha now. The time is not yet ripe for a public release, but this should not sadden this birthday!

During the last month, we've worked on different stuff. Quak implemented all kinds of stuff, including different firemodes (single-shot and burst). Ecks has been updating his weapon models, especially the M4a1 got some customization options now, while Vaarscha has been creating animations for his object models used in the missions.
We also have a new member, t72Butt, who is creating HUD graphics.

In the next news we'll show some media again, probably with the HUD. (if you haven't, check out the advent calendar for some media!)
