HCTM2 PATCH 2.04 CHANGE LOG:
-------------------------------------------------------

There are lots of fixes, changes or updates in this patch.
In fact, there are too many to list everything point by point.
That said; here's a brief overview of what you will find in the patch...

1: The Ai artillery and airstrike system has been updated.
2: The player ammo request system has been updated.
3: The player medic function has been updated.
4: The player knife function has been updated. It would activate when using a turret MG sometime. This no longer happens.
5: Player grenade throw back has been updated. You can now pick up, and throw smoke grenades that have not detonated.
6: Player breathing has now been added to HCTM2. This feature allows you to hear yourself breathe throughout the entire map.
It actually sounds like you're fighting now. In the heat of battle, it sounds very intense!
This feature can also be turned on and off from within the "Game Options" menu.
7: Ai radio calls have been updated for the allies and axis.
8: Player sprinting has been updated.
9: The Ai run and shoot function has been updated.
10: Some of the aitype files have been updated.
11: Some of the character files have been updated.
12: New effects have been added.
13: Some of the mission briefs have been updated.
14: Fixed or updated a lot of the missions. They play even better now.
15: Some of the vehicles and tanks have been updated. Example:
The Panzer II now uses an auto cannon that fires just as it does in real life.
16: New voiceovers have been added.
17: The battle chatter system has been updated. You can now hear your squad mates call each other by name and rank.
18: The user interface has been updated.
19: The late model FG42 has been added for the Germans. The Boys AT rifle has been added for the British and French.
20: There have also been minor changes made to some of the existing weapons as well.
21: Some of the weapon sounds have been updated.
22: New maps... The "On Track" and "Operation Lüttich" maps have now been added to HCTM2.
23: Some of the existing maps in the HCTM2 Extras folder have also been updated.
24: The Ai panzerfaust animation has been completely redone.
Now when they fire the panzerfaust, you will see the warhead detach from the tube.
After that, you will see them throw the empty tube on the ground and switch to their secondary weapon.
The new panzerfaust animation actually looks like it does in real life now.

Installation:
-------------------------------------------------------

In order to install Hard Core Tactical Mod 2 Patch 2.04:

1: You must first have HCTM2 installed.
zzzz - HCTM2_01.iwd through zzzz - HCTM2_10.iwd must already be in your Call of Duty 2 main folder.

2: Extract the contents from HCTM2_Patch_2.04a.rar and HCTM2_Patch_2.04b.rar

3: Copy -[Hard Core Tactical Mod 2 Patch 2.04 Readme], -[HCTM2 Extras], CoD2SP.exe and gfx_d3d_x86_s.dll to your Call of Duty 2 root directory and click "yes" when asked if you wish to replace the existing files.

4: Copy zzzz - HCTM2_11.iwd and zzzz - HCTM2_12.iwd to your Call of Duty 2 "main" folder.

IMPORTANT: Once you've placed zzzz - HCTM2_11.iwd and zzzz - HCTM2_12.iwd into your main folder,
run your game and go to Options/Game Options and click on...

"HCTM2 Default Settings".

This will activate the settings needed to run the patched version of Hard Core Tactical Mod 2.

To Install Add-ons:
If you wish to run any of the add-ons that come with Hard Core Tactical Mod 2...

1: Go to the -[HCTM2 Extras] folder located in your Call of Duty 2 root directory.
2: Select the add-on that you wish to use and then copy and paste it into your CoD2 main folder.

IMPORTANT: Only put an add-on in your main folder when you intend to use it.
If you're not using an add-on, do not leave it in your main folder.

To Uninstall Add-ons:

Remove any add-on that you no longer wish to use from your CoD2 main folder.

To Uninstall HCTM2:

1: Remove the -[HCTM2 Extras] folder from your Call of Duty 2 root directory.
2: Remove zzzz - HCTM2_01.iwd through zzzz - HCTM2_12.iwd from your Call of Duty 2 main folder.
