'Halo: Ring of Destruction' is a codename for our total conversion mod for HL2. The game won't be identical to Halo, but will have some minor similarities. There were many things I disliked in Halo and they include boring (easyish) gameplay, basic appearances of maps and the repetiveness of both map areas and characters. Hopefully, all of this will be improved with the mod. We had worked a fair bit on the 'Pillar of Autumn' for Singleplayer and had got a few Multiplayer maps made. However, due to copyright infringement issues we are unable to keep it as you see in the pictures. Much will change including storyline, characters, locations etc. If you're wondering whether the hell we know what we're doing, on our private forums we have discussed the entire story, had some of our own concept drawn out, thought about new names and variations and also come up with some unique ideas. One of the big changes with this mod is that it will be supporting co-op gameplay....

  • Master chief Model has been made (Shown above (Please read image descripton))
  • We have a basic Multi-player coded, and tryed.
  • We have 20 people in total on our team now.
  • We have some weapons modeled

However...

  • We still haven't got 100% of the legal terms sorted out.
  • Co-op coding is not yet sorted out. (5 or 6 Errors)

I would like to thank everybody in the team for making good progress.

considering that halogen got shut down, i would be scared for ur future as well.
