Which style of PoA do you prefer me to continue in?
so he is talking about Halo CE or Halo Reach just for the people that dont know what he is talking bout ;).
I say mix them up, and give it also your own feel to it.
It'll be good if you use original(Combat Evolved) style, but add new engines glow and additional guns)

I'd suggest mixing the darker tones from CE with Reach's quality.

REACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but some said you should add the color of the CE one, to respond to those people if you noticed the odd color and weird texture gave it the effect of making it look like it was made out of rock or stone. the newer one's colors and texture gives it that titanium outer body it always had and makes it look more realistic and made of metal instead of rocks lol :)

I think my biggest problem with the Reach model is how shiny they make it look. The POA is not a shiny ship! It's ramshackle and a bit long in the tooth. It's suppose to look kinda crappy. Refit or no.

How about the original with a little graphical enchancement, like the engine glow and color
yea but its shinyer,sleeker,newer,more wepons,more futuristic looking.CE looks too dull,not many details,and ugly broen color
i think using both would be good. but i think it would be cool to have one as a special ship, like one that can be unlocked throughout campain. that way both can be used.

i like the overall improved design for the reach version, but as i dont like the halo: reach game id say halo: CE version
Go for Reach. The only reason there is any difference at all is hardware/software limitations of the time. The original isn't the original, its just the best they could do with the technology they had. IE its a piece of crap model. It doesnt even have the Point Defense Turrets the Autumn is suppose to have, nor a MAC barrel, nor any exterior markings as described in the book.
If you have any doubt, just model it after the technical descriptions in The Fall of Reach. Other than that, you should take some artistic license and make it look as good as you can, same with all the models.
Someone who has the same idea I do... Yes, Technology was the limitation at the time, and I'm sure if bungie were to do it all over again, they would use the new technology afforded today...
The PD guns don't show cause their 50mm guns, not 450mm howitzers. The guns on the Reach PoA are completely unrealistic. They ARE 450mm howitzers. And what's this about the CE PoA not having a MAC barrel? It's right there on the front! Only a blind person could miss it.
And what sort of markings was she suppose to have, according to the book, which, I will now point out, has defunct data with the release of Reach.
All in all, your argument fails to impress me.
Use elements from both - There's obvious places where both models fall down. The original has large expanses where there's just...nothing happening to catch the eye, and reach a much nicer transition between the engine block at the back and the big middle section, however reach's head section is a bit ugly.
Sure the Reach one is more detailed. But it doesnt make sense. Look at all those random holes in it. That would be impossible to have it like that. It would gather up tons of dust and rocks inside! Reach is your avarage Sci-fi looking game. Looks cool, but doesnt make much sense.
