Half-Life 2: Retaliation is a singleplayer Half-Life 2: Episode Two modification. It brings you into the familiar world of Half-Life 2 just as the antlion invasion of Nova Prospekt takes place. You step into the shoes of a notorious Rebel soldier who has been held captive in Nova Prospekt for months. During the invasion, he escapes his prison cell and goes on a long and violent mission to retaliate against the Combine, and aid the Resistance in the revolution. Travel through brand-new areas in Nova Prospekt, fight your way through three never-before-seen locations in the Half-Life 2 universe, witness the beginning of The Uprising, and ultimately carry out your retaliation.
The brand new variant of the Metropolice, the tougher and more deadly Civil Protection Shocktrooper defends important Civil Protection buildings and interests, including the central headquarters for all CP activities in City 17.
Looking Gut
I always wanted to see the CP's beefed up a bit and more aggressive for a proper and more satisfying challenge. While not a bad character, they were more like fleshed out game-play pistol fodder than much else. Good call.
Neo are you there ?
Interesting but i hope it's not the last version.
Its not, we have a HD texture skin on the way, and the entire model will just be more crisp and look better. As far as any other changes then that, no there won't be.
SHOT IN DA FACE!!!!! Anyway great design! Can't wait for the full realese. Pardon my french.
Why not give these guys a AR2? They are higher in rank than the normal CPs.
AR2 (OSIPR) = OverWatch Standard Issue Pulse Rifle
I hope that answers your question. Though, a new weapon for them would be nice.
They aren't higher in rank, they are a different branch of the Civil Protection.
