HALF LIFE 2 1970s cancelling the mod (NOT PERMANENT) news

I am simply cancelling this mod for the time being because as time is going by I want to learn something that is going to get me somewhere, I want to do something that is going to get me somewhere not just working on some Half Life 2 mod that may or may not be finished. Granted I have also been getting a lot of stress over this mod and it would be nice to have break not worrying about you fans. With that being said the things I want to learn is the actual making of the game, the steps and the careful considerations there are that go into a game, in fact I'm thinking of going to college and learning business and game design. With that being said I just want to take the extra time I have before heading out of High School to learn something meaningful, now this doesn't mean I'm quitting this mod far from that I am simply saying I need to take a break. This mod has been really fun to make so far and for the most part has been a huge learning experience, I learned many things for example making music and making models. Now I know a lot of you are thinking that over time I will forget about this mod and never come back to it again and if that happens I have a plan I think a lot of you are going to like. I am planning on after I "finish" learning a bit about game design to work on a full on game similar to the themes of this mod meaning Industrial, dystopian, 70s, fps. Now I may not release news about it super soon because I do not want to stress about you guys waiting long periods of time for the game to come out, that was a mistake I already made on this. To say the least I will say you guys where a great welcome to the modding community, you guys supported me through and through and I thank you for that. And with all that being said I hope I'll come back to this mod its been real fun making. Anyways please enjoy some images I haven't released on moddb as of yet:
