Half-Life 2 '02 is a mod that will add the missing E3 maps to the mod Missing Information based on the Half-Life 2 leak, including Industrial and Lab. It is essentually a pack of 5 maps & additional leak content, wink wink. This pack is recommended only for the mod Missing Information since MI already includes most of the models, etc. It also aims to patch MI's missing materials/models. Progress has been great! Well, good news! I'm very sure that the e3_lab sequence from 2003 will be fully fixed and almost up-to-par with the video! So far I have 3 maps done and 3 maps 80% done, and have only a few more maps to straighten out. Expect this project to be released in the near future. On a side note, a few of the maps aren't E3 sequences but special surprises. You'll have to wait for those, and I'm pretty sure you guys will love them!

Well, good news! I'm very sure that the e3_lab sequence from 2003 will be fully fixed and almost up-to-par with the video! Alyx will have a few different gestures and such since she is missing almost all the e3_lab animations, but she will still hand you the SMG as expected. Kleiner thankfully has all of his animations so he'll be fully fixed. Also expect him to have a new look!

So far I have 3 maps completely done and 3 maps 80% done, and have only a few more maps to straighten out, like with fixing timing and the order of events.. Expect this project to be released in the near future. But don't get impulsive!

On a side note, a few of the maps aren't E3 sequences but special surprises. For some hints on what they are, one is a map that Marc Laidlaw was working on back in 2001. It's a very psychologically perplexing map. The other is a map that appears to have been a sequence for E3, but wasn't shown.

Now I've noticed that the e3_techdemo maps are totally unstable (at least with me). The problem is the shaders and the reflections. I think it might help to split these maps, because MI put them all into one big map. Maybe the game can render these surfaces better if they are split, but I'm not sure.

That's all for now, folks.

As for the problem with the unstable techdemo mapz and such, that's only been because I have a computer with a nasty integrated driver. So if anyone has any problems in general, get a new and better driver, especially if the one you have came with the computer when you bought it.
