GTA San Andreas is a game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. I am porting the city of San Andreas over to the Source Engine in order to enhance the gameplay. Noticable improvement due to the port are as follows: Higher-poly models and characters High-Dynamic Range Lighting Soft shadows Havok-like physics Enhanced audible experience First-person aspect and Much, much more I am not planning on releasing this mod to the general public until permission be granted me by Take-Two Interactive in order to prevent lawsuits for unfair business practices and/or trademark infringements. For now it stays as my hobby. As I progress, I will made sure many, many pictures and videos become available so that the differences, some as listed above, be displayed to all who are interested. I am using 3ds Max 8 to import the models from San Andreas and export as HL2 SMD files, ready for mdl compiling. This is not a modification for Half-Life 2.
