Finally a full preview of all phase 1 clones in our mod.

Ok, guys, this is the major article I planned about all Phase 1 clone troopers variants we have in the mod. It's long, but I hope you will find it interesting :)

NOTE: The article structire is from top to bottom clones on the different terrains they will encounted around the galaxy - Urban, Temperate, Dark, Cold, Desert, Forest and Swamp. If you see a specific type of clone only on one picture, but not on the others it means that this clone don't change armour and equipment on other planets (e.g. the pilots). I'll use the picture of all variants as an example and I'll cut the repeating text down. Of course if you don't understant anything, just ask us :)

All troopers:

- On Urban and Temperate planets

- Dark planets
0 All Nightvision

- Cold planets0 All Cold

- Swamp planets0 All Swamp

  • Regular troopers:
    • From left to right: DC15s trooper, DC15A trooper, DC15s with backpack (throw grenade ability)

  • Heavy weapons troopers:
    • Flamethrower trooper, Z-6 trooper, Rocket Launcher trooper, EWEB team

  • Note how the Flamethrower is missing, we don't think it's a wise idea to start a fire in a swamp or forest

    • Combat engineer (vehicle repair) and combat medic (clone heal)

    • Sniper and sniper spotter (you can see the turret the sniper can spawn to protect himself or some key points)

  • Jetpack troopers:
    • JP trooper, JP Sergeant, JP Medic, JP Lieutenant (the SG and the LT are using the same model as regs), JP Assault trooper (our tribute to SW BF I and II (the real ones), he is using EMP Launcher and has green reflective visor)

  • No cold variant, as jetpack and arctic storm is not something that you will try more than once

  • Reconnaisence troopers:
    • ARF trooper and BARC trooper(with phase I the BARC trooper uses regular armour)

  • Pilot troopers:
    • Driver(heavy vehicles) and Pilot(flying)

7 Pilots

  • Senior troopers:
    • They are divided on two types:

- Tech 1and 2 (AOTC style): Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Commander
= Note how as the captain is the highest rank involved directly in combat, Majors and Commanders don't need camo armour as they stay far behind the battle lines

    • As gun crew and command: Cannon Spotter(uses reg model), Gunner and Artillery Commander

With the inclusion of the pilot troopers, will troops be able to exit their vehicles? Is that even possible with the game engine? If so, could they be able to enter the exited vehicle to turn it back into a vehicle unit? Much like the vehicles in Men Of War assault Squad 2.

Will there be like a option where pilots can emergency eject out of the fighter?

I even have a way to do it, at least in theor. But I can't really find a logical reason for it. How this is going to be useful?

Well the reason I had this idea is because I saw the clone pilot models and I thought it would be cool to have that option, like what we sometimes saw in the clone wars and so on. Additionally, I thought that would it not be cool to use the pilot as a last resort, like for example one more building needs to be destroyed, but I don't have any troops left, but my one ship is although almost "dead" I can eject my pilot and use him.

Well that was the idea behind don't know if it is useful.
I apologize for not having any better ideas.
