G-MOD is a mod for Quake III arena meant for people who just like to frag. There are no powerups, health or ammo/guns in the map. You begin with full health and the server's choice of armor, ammo and weapons and everytime you frag someone, you get them back. Its ideal for one on one's and team deathmatches, though it supports all Quake 3 gametypes. Infact, CTF can be quite fun too, especially since the flagbearer has a handicap ie. he does not get his health back when he frags someone. Besides, G-MOD also supports loading RA3 style Multi-Arena maps and you can choose to have everyone playing in one arena, or all arenas at the same time. Read the multiarena HOWTO for details. What's more, by getting the AAS files for RA3 maps (see the RA3 Map Bot support section on the site), you can also practice against bots in your favourite RA3 maps.

The latest beta version of G-MOD is out. The most significant addition is the ability to load "Rocket Arena 3" style (MultiArena) maps. The mod now supports playing in specific arenas of such maps, or playing in all arenas at the same time. The site has also has a pk3 file available for download

The latest beta version of G-MOD is out. The most significant addition is the ability to load "Rocket Arena 3" style (MultiArena) maps. The mod now supports playing in specific arenas of such maps, or playing in all arenas at the same time.

The site has also has a pk3 file available for download which adds support for bots in some of the more popular RA3 maps (map1,map11,map12 and map2). So now you can practice with bots in your favorite RA3 maps.
