Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

Almost got the model, definately didn't get the missile pods down, but good job so far...

That's what it looks like from this view.
We made an active decision to move away from those weapons and design new ones. On top of that, I made the decision to make some personal deviations from the image, adding a bit of my own style to it.
Ya, I we decided the excess of missile pods didn't do the model any justice. Sometimes, less is more.

Can we have some details about the texturing techniques? You are using one texture image for the whole ship or more, etc? Just curious.
Kuze, the chef never reveals his receipe hehe. Actually, the K-Wing isn't done yet, this is a primer coating that I do before applying the real work of texturing. when the ship will be done, a new image will be uploaded here for you to see.
