Hello everyone, this is our first update to show to the public, we have encountered many delays that have pushed back this release but finally it’s here. The FCS mod team is proud to show you the XM8 assault Carbine in its desert and jungle variant, modeled with the help of the fine people at Hicalibur3d.cncdepot.net and our very own Guedoe, and skinned by Billtcm.
The XM8 is designed to offer the Future warrior superior accuracy and lethality in the battlefield and is only a part of the entire FCS program.

You may want to find a new rifle, the XM8 program was shelved by the pentigon a little while ago.
wish i had a dollar for the amount of times i heard that,lol.We are well aware that the XM8 project was cancelled but we are NOT a realism mod so therefore not everything has to be true to life, so in simpler terms, in OUR mod the XM8 is not cancelled
Im sure you have noticed this but on one side of the gun the lettering is reversed. Might want to re- map that side insted of mirroring it.
It should not be called the XM8; The X means its experimental; You should call it the M8(what it would have been called were it completed). That text should not be on the side either.
well, our mod is still in the production phase and things are being made etc etc, so thats the reason i wanted to keep the X on it for now, as it was fitting.
