In Patch 5.4, significant changes have been introduced to enhance gameplay and balance in various aspects of the game. The War Event has received substantial improvements, including a comeback mechanic that rewards the losing team with valuable stats, late join options for the losing side, and the ability to reroll helmets. New tier 2 War Event stats have been added, allowing players to further customize their characters.

The New Reno Wars experience has been fine-tuned, with events now occurring at scheduled times, and players' starting money based on their reputation. Additionally, players can earn reputation-based buffs, adding depth to their strategies.

Balancing changes have touched on perk requirements and weapon stats, reshaping the combat dynamics. A host of quality-of-life improvements, new locations, and rewards have been introduced, offering a more engaging and immersive gaming experience. Lastly, numerous bug fixes ensure smoother gameplay and more accurate mechanics.

Patch 5.4 brings a comprehensive set of changes that enrich the world of the game, offering players exciting new opportunities and challenges.

War Event Changes:

Comeback Mechanics: The losing team will now receive additional stats for every 250 points they fall behind. These bonuses stack and persist until the end of the event. The list of random stats includes:

• 15 Hit Points or 5% Critical Damage (for characters with less than 150 HP).
• 1 Damage Resistance (equivalent to Weakness 2 buffs; 1 normal DR and 1 laser DR for every 7 buffs).
• 1 Action Point.
• 1 S.P.E.C.I.A.L (separate buff for each attribute).
• 6% more currency gain.

Taking Flag Rewards: Capturing the flag now rewards players with currency. Starting the capture awards 1000 currency base, with additional bonuses based on time and currency boosts. Completing the capture awards 25000 currency base, also with time and currency boost multipliers.

Late Joining: Late joining to the event is now allowed between 5 to 20 minutes into the event, but only for the losing team.

Reroll Helmet: Players can now reroll their helmet for another one for 5000 currency.

Increased Starting Ammo: Starting ammo has been increased.

Ammo Refill: Ammo refill will no longer cause overweight issues.

Respawn: Players who are not killers will respawn with full Action Points.

Leaving Lobby Penalty: Leaving the lobby in Black Cross Outpost now imposes a 10-minute cooldown before rejoining (except for supporters).

Black Cross Outpost Changes:

• Before evolving a weapon, players must now confirm their choice in a dialog to prevent misclicks.
• Vehicles can now be parked in Black Cross Outpost from Friday to Monday, and only the owner will be able to use the car or truck. Be cautious if you used another vehicle before taking one from Black Cross Outpost, as you won't be able to take it until Tuesday.

Tier 2 War Event Stats: Tier 2 stats have been added. You can install only one Tier 2 stat, and you have a 30% chance to get it after having installed 10 stats. The list of Tier 2 stats includes:

• Super Utility: Offers bonuses such as 300 Carry Weight, a cap of 10 Rad Resistance, a cap of 5 Poison Resistance, 50% more currency/caps on events, 100 Accuracy, and 2 additional damage per bullet. Melee damage is reduced by 40%, and there's a +4 bonus to defensive rolls.
• Super Movement: Provides a 10% Movement Speed increase, 5 additional Action Points for movement in turn-based mode, an extra 4 Action Points, 60 Armor Class, and a 20% reduction in time to attack.
• Super Damage: Grants 20 additional Lethal Damage, 20 more Melee Damage, a 60% increase in critical power for melee attacks, a +20% Damage multiplier, and 20 additional minutes of drug effects (4 minutes for Cannibal). The duration is halved in fast meta.
• Super Criticals: Boosts critical power by 80%, critical roll by 60, and critical chance by 20%.
• Super Range: Enhances sight range by 20, sneak detection by 100, adds 4 to ranged weapon range, and increases the combat implant limit by 1.
• Super Health: Increases healing rate by 80, provides +30% resistance to Critical Rolls, adds 80 Hit Points, allows for 100% healing from First Aid, and offers a 20% heal from medications.
• Super Defense: Provides 10 to all Damage Resistance, 4 to all Damage Threshold, and a 40% resistance to Critical Chance.
• Super Regen: Grants 50 additional Sequence points and 100 Sneak points, boosts Action Point Regeneration by 50, reduces Action Points lost during Knockouts by 5, provides a 50% Action Point regeneration on kill, and offers a 20% Health Point regeneration on kill.
• Super Special: Adds +1 to one of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L attributes.

New Reno Wars Changes:

Event Scheduling: Events will no longer occur at random hours. Instead, they are scheduled as follows:
• Monday: 11 PM CEST
• Tuesday: 10 PM CEST
• Wednesday: 7 PM CEST
