First Strike is a Star Wars total conversion modification for Battlefield 2142. The goal of First Strike is to totally immerse the players into the amazing universe of Star Wars by presenting the most accurate representations of famous Star Wars locales, weapons, and characters, and combining them with exciting, fast paced gameplay and features new to the Battlefield scene. Within this mod you'll find yourself as a soldier of the Galactic Empire or as a freedom fighter for the Rebel Alliance. You'll fight across lovingly detailed recreations of various Star Wars locations with a wide array of weapons and vehicles.

Another round of promotions from the First Strike development team, as well as new dynamic class-based stats signatures.

After a little time out (after all we've been quite busy what with the release of First Strike 1.4 and all that), it is time for the return of the monthly promotions. So lets see just how the release of 1.4 has effected the standings of the cream of the crop of the First Strike Community shall we?
The war for the galaxy continues, a number of small victories have resulted in the Rebel Alliance forces growing more bold, and the conflict has become more widespread leading to engagements with the enemy across the galaxy in numerous star systems and on countless worlds including Lok and Bandomeer. Still, the new sensor station being built on Null will soon expand our intelligence network far into the Outer Rim and shall doubtless increase the Imperial Fleet's efficiency in tracking down our illusive prey.
One of these recent engagements has lead to the loss of one of the Empire's finest. Leading his forces into battle in the far reaches of the Outer Rim, Grand Moff RabidJohn's fleet was lost with no survivors. His death has not been confirmed by any of the ships that went to his last known position, so for now at least he must be considered missing in action, and his honorary title must move to someone else equally deserving within the Emperor's forces.
So now we will see who has been successful during this current escalation of the Galactic Civil War...

You have as ever taken the changing nature of this conflict in your stride, showing all beneath you in the Imperial forces what it means to earn the distinctive title of Grand Admiral. Your record speaks for itself as do your continuing victories against the enemies of the Empire.

Moff Oddball...

It is with great pleasure that we award you the title of Grand Moff, it has been a long time coming, but your continued exemplary service to the Emperor have insured that this was inevitable, it was your destiny.

Fleet Admiral JE_Twigs...

Your impressive service to the Empire has not gone unnoticed, especially in these trying times. It is my honour to award you with the rank of Moff. May you continue to serve in this new role with even more success.

You have maintained your high level of performance through this ever growing conflict, the sectors under your command remain secure, as does your position at High Command.

Line Captain TK-7642...

It is indeed rare when we find a rank and file soldier working their way up so quickly in the ranks of the Emperor's forces, but when they have performed as solidly as you have it is not long before your activities catch the attention of High Command. I hereby award you with your new rank of Fleet Admiral. May your swift ascension be an inspiration to all the troops that serve under you.

It is my pleasure also to present you with your new rank of Fleet Admiral. It appears that the war has brought out the best in you and revealed talents that may be best served in High Command. Continue to serve the Empire as successfully and there are no limits to where your success will lead you, but beware of failure as the Emperor's eyes are watching you now.

Fleet Admiral Guyver1911...

It appears that the pressures of High Command may have proved too much for you to cope with, and regretfully I must inform you of the news of your demotion back down to the rank of Line Captain. Perhaps a short vacation will allow you to relax and ease your stress levels to the point where you will once again be of service to the Emperor. A long cruise across the Outer Rim should do the job nicely. Is that the Bantha's Burden coming into dock I spy?
