Excellent work guys... as usual.. Can I give just a quick graphic tip though? When reducing a render or screen-shot of a model, or a composite of a model onto a background, reduce the graphic by a percentage that is in increments of 25% such as 75% of original, 50% or 25%.. the same goes for increasing a graphic size. This will stop the rough, wobbly looking jagged edges that appear with an off percentage reduction... if that is not what the jaggies are from, maybe a little AA (anti-aliasing) on the shot... keep up the great work...

its defintly because of compression. when i took teh screenshot it was saved at my resolution of 1680 x 1050, i have an 8800GTX so i play with all teh rediculous AA and AF settings on.

but when xero makes the templates he generaly shrinks them to like 800 x 600 or so for websites.

xEROhOUR, the reduction for 1680 x 1050 to 800 x 600 using the reduction tools or scaling plugin in either PSD or PhotoImpact that I use, does not give the errors I can see.. just a quick question, do you do it via the scaling plug-in or by dragging the corner in to the size you want? as that will cause heaps of errors.... not being picky, it is just being a graphics person, that the quality of the work that is coming from the your mod needs the best presentation possible, as I am hanging out to play the mod myself.. lol

Hey nice to meet The_Preacher.... I just took the image from your gallery, outlined the star area with a brush, made a selection from it, used the original pic you posted and overlay-ed the sized brush onto it to outline the area needed, then copy and paste it back into the original gallery image...

Team.enterprise-tcw.com

The original gallery image's centre section has been stretched, only slightly or, if the pic you posted is not the original size, but larger, it has been reduced in size... but yeah, it all comes down to the percentage the image is reduced. 21% will give jaggies (depending on your software) 25% 50% and 75% won't.. as long as the ratios are the same, (not 16:9 to 4:3 or visa versa) it works fine.. sorry for the long winded posts.. great mod, keep up the impressive work guys...
