how do i open cutsom maps???
As I have said in the other comment, you just need to extract it to your maps folder and run the game. This one is for Halo Custom Edition and although this map will appear in the Multiplayer maps list, it is SP ONLY since Halo's graphics engine doesnt support to show AI characters to be displayed at the same time.
