Here are the first public screen shots of our new player models and our newest map being recreated by smilie, ps_river! The FA2 team is in high gear right now, we are so close to having our new player models in game and working. Once they are, we will post an in depth explanation of how we implemented and created them for the source engine. Come by and visit the FA2 Forums for more updates and FA2 related discussion!

We finished the initial qc file for our new player models today, just working on getting all of the various features functional in game now, won't be long. ;/

I loved the realism of injury in the old one (IE broken legs XD and bandages), but what I didn't like was how bad your guys are at aiming in all situations, and that crouch is the only way you'll pull off any decent damage at any range. It was still good though but I'd loved to see some improved gameplay not to mention some improved graphics :D.

Ah, we have a texture artist currently working on the character models. Just trying to recruit some new people to speed up development.
Agreed, FA went downhill hard after RC 2.5.

what about woman characters? And can be new classes?
Sorry there aren't going to be female characters in Firearms 2. Also the game doesn't revolve around a class system. You can use the credit system to purchase any configuration you want, then you can save each one and load it up quickly when joining a new game.
