Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.
the world does not end behind the third bridge :) to keep the FPS on my old system (shot was taken 2 years ago) over 30 FPS at ultra quality, i inserted here a viewdistance limiter, this cut's the stuff behind his range.
but it is only on this little place here, the complete map works without such tricks ;)
actually my current rigg should handle this scene wihtout problems and viewdist limitation.
as i have now also a special option for that in menu / performance, every user can switch on such a limitation depending on his actual PC power. you can simply select the FPS which devkid should hold and allow then the engine to scale some stuff on runtime.

It does look good, but maybe increase fog density if that's possible :)
it's cool to see a city in Far Cry 1 too
maybe i will simply deactivate that distance-shorten area, because the mentioned function above do the fog stuff automaticly depending on actual viewingrange.
