Fall of Saigon is a Vietnam War modification for the Half-Life 2: source engine. The modification will be based in the realism of the Vietnam War, trying to portray things, events, and places as they actually were. The gameplay will also reflect as much of the realistic feeling as the development team is able to portray. The game will recreate the feeling of the jungle, or place the player in Saigon, or anywhere in between. The player will be emersed in all the sights and sounds of the jungle and will be able to use them to their advantage, and if they're not careful, it could be as dangerous as the enemy. Btw, do vietnamese use this ? Because i always thought why they used some old german weapons ? Stolen from Soviets after ww2 ?

They got he lot of german made weapon from the french, cause french army at that time used he mix of french/us/german weapons.

The S&W MK 22 was used by the Green Berets more often than the PPK it seems. I'd give them the MK. 22, and make the Walther PPK be used by the French if you plan on having them in the game. If you want to be "lazy" and not add in the French, give the Walther PPK to an Officer class that can call out support strikes or something like that.
Gret ideas. For now its taken along time to get the game to alpha and beta still off. So French or Anzac forces or VC wont be for first release but maybe for a future release.
Officer class is not planned for Bet but is planned to be included one day. The officer will be able to call in air strikes, mortar etc.
For sure will not be in Beta and not planed for RC1.
But would be great goal for 1.5
